Maui police yesterday identified the motorcyclist killed Saturday in an early morning crash as Thomas C. Corbett, 47.

Corbett was operating a 1991 Honda Shadow that went off the roadway on Waiehu Beach Road at Ukali Street and collided with a guardrail at 1:21 a.m. Corbett died at the scene, police said.

The death was Maui's sixth traffic fatality of 2008.
