RIM ARCHITECTS — HAWAII

RIM Architects — Hawaii recently appointed Bill Waring as the firm's sustainable program coordinator. Waring previously was vice president, store planning and facilities, for Pomare, Ltd. dba Hilo Hattie. He will manage the company's sustainable program and inform RIM's clients about the value of building green.

MAUI LAND & PINEAPPLE CO. INC.

Maui Land & Pineapple Co. Inc. has promoted Verna Nalani Podlewski to community relations manager in the corporate communications department. She will oversee community relations for the company's new community investment program in addition to her previous duties as community liaison and coordinator.

NORTH HAWAII COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

North Hawaii Community Hospital of Waimea on the Big Island has named W. Jeff Comer Jr. as chief executive officer. He most recently served as regional vice president of operations, North California Market, at Pivot Health in Sacramento, Calif. North Hawaii Community Hospital is a community-owned, nonprofit, full-service, acute-care medical center managed by QHR Management Services.

HUALALAI RESORT

Hualalai Resort has named William Anderson executive vice president and chief operating officer. Anderson will oversee all resort operations and work directly with the management teams at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai and the Kona Village Resort. Most recently, Anderson served as vice president of concepts and operations for Steve Case's Miraval Holdings.
