Small Oahu surf today before swells arrive

Advertiser Staff

Generally small surf conditions will prevail across O'ahu today, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf is expected to be 2 feet to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 2 feet or less along west- and south-facing shores.

North-facing shores will likely see surf of just 1 foot to 3 feet, according to the forecast.

A strong high-pressure area developing north of the state will produce rough surf near the advisory level for east-facing shores late Sunday through Tuesday.

A small northwest swell will arrive tomorrow and continue through Saturday, while a small north swell should roll in Sunday and Monday.
