Surf up a bit today on Oahu's north-facing shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores on O'ahu will receive a bump upward today but will still only be about 2 feet to 4 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 1 foot to 3 feet along along east- and west-facing shores and 2 feet or less along south-facing shores.

A strong high-pressure area building north of the state will produce rough surf near the advisory level for east-facing shores late Sunday through Wednesday. The new small northwest swell will continue through Saturday, with a small north swell arriving Sunday and Monday.
