Georgia Tech baseball player found dead

Associated Press

ATLANTA — Georgia Tech officials say a member of the baseball team has been found dead.

School officials say the player, 21-year-old pitcher Michael Hutts, was found dead this morning. Atlanta Police Department officials and Georgia Tech police say they have not yet determined the cause of death.

Georgia Tech athletic department spokesman Dean Buchan says foul play is not suspected.

Hutts was a junior in Georgia Tech's College of Management.

Athletic director Dan Radakovich scheduled a news conference for this evening. A baseball game scheduled for tonight between Georgia Tech and Miami was postponed.
