KANE'OHE WETLANDS — Volunteers needed tomorrow for Sierra Club wetlands work on Marine Corps Base Hawai'i. Submit name and contact information in advance to Annette Kaohelaulii at 235-5431.

OPERATION POLIHALE — Volunteers welcome to work with Pi'ina Hoku youth program in Operation Polihale from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow. Work includes cleanup, plant trimming, fixture repairs, painting, replacement of vehicle barriers at Polihale State Park. Contact Leadership Kaua'i at 808-246-8727.

WAHIAWA ALOHA 'AINA — The 39th Aloha 'Aina Recycling Community Cleanup Project will accept bulky items for disposal and recyclables from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at Leilehua High School. Accepting HI-5˘ containers, eyeglasses, hearing aids, printer cartridges, usable lumber, clothing, scrap metal, auto parts, cooking oil, lawn mowers, newspapers, cardboard, fishing nets and more. POUHALA MARSH RESTORATION — Volunteers needed to pull pickleweed and mangrove from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Pearl Harbor wetland. KAWAI NUI CLEANUP— Windward Ahupua'a Alliance will conduct a Quick-n-Dirty Cleanup of Kawai Nui waterway and Hamakua Marsh from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with HI-5˘ container drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Look for signs and white tent mauka of Kailua Road bridge, opposite Windward Boats.
