Earth, Wind & Fire returns to arena May 27

Earth, Wind & Fire, the R&B, soul and pop favorite, returns to Hawaii for a concert on May 27 at the Blaisdell Arena.

The concert is part of the group's "Beyond the Elements" tour.

EWF, featuring Phillip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson, is known for a lei of hits amassed over three decades including "Shining Star," "Sing a Song," "September," "Boogie Wonderland," "That's the Way of the World," "Let's Groove," "Saturday Nite," "After the Love Has Gone," "Got To Get You Into My Life" and "Serpentine Fire."

The group last played the Islands in January, 2002, packing the arena in two shows.

EWR was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
