PACIFIC GUARDIAN LIFE INSURANCE CO. LTD

Pacific Guardian Life Insurance Co. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co. has named Tsukasa "Mike" Namiki president and chief executive officer.

Yoji "George" Nakamura, president and CEO since April 1, 2002, will return to Japan to accept a new position with a subsidiary.

Since joining the firm in 1981, Namiki has served as manager of international market development, managing director of the firm's European and British segments, and most recently in Tokyo as general manager of the international department.

CENTRAL PACIFIC HOMELOANS

Central Pacific HomeLoans has announced the hiring of Jon Whittington as executive vice president - retail division manager. Whittington has more than 15 years of experience in Hawai'i mortgage banking. Whittington spent the past 10 years at Countrywide, most recently as senior vice president and regional manager.

COLDWELL BANKER PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Craig Galvin, vice president of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, has been appointed assistant area office leader for the King Street office.

CADES SCHUTTE

Cades Schutte recently announced that William "Keoni" Shultz and Elijah Yip have been named partners.

Shultz's practice concentration is civil litigation, with an emphasis on quiet-title and partition litigation. Yip practices commercial and business litigation with an emphasis on First Amendment rights, media law and defamation law.
