'Spring Footholds' dance event at UH

"Spring Footholds: Echoes," a dance concert, will be staged at 8 p.m. April 30, May 1, 2 and 3 and 2 p.m. May 4 at the University of Hawaici-Manoa's Earle Ernst Lab Theatre.

The program features choreography by graduate and undergraduate dance students, including such pieces as "On the Road" featuring the music of the Grateful Dead, "Variations from the Big Sky" about family and community and "Prism" about the scientific properties of light.

Tickets: $12 general, $10 UH faculty-staff, seniors, military and students, $4 for UH students with ID.
