On Saturday, the free Grow Hawaiian Festival will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bishop Museum. Learn about native and Polynesian-introduced plants, watch kapa being made and poi being pounded. There will be food booths, plants for sale and Hawaiian entertainment, too. Plus, the first 100 families will receive a free, recylable grocery bag from the Hawaiian Electric Co.; 847-3511.
