Weather: Light winds and lots of haze expected today

The weather for the next few days will feature daytime sea breezes and afternoon clouds with a few showers followed by nighttime clearing, the National Weather Service said.

Winds will be weak due to a low pressure system far to the north of the state, forecasters said.

The normals trade winds will begin to return Saturday when a high pressure area builds north of the islands.

Here's a more detailed look at what to expect during the next few days:

Today: Widespread haze. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph.

Tonight: Widespread haze. Mostly clear, with a low around 66. Light and variable wind.

Friday: Isolated showers after noon. Widespread haze. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Isolated showers after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Light north wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Scattered showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
