Advertiser Staff

A group of combat-wounded Marines from Kane?ohe is volunteering to construct a

sensory horse trail for the children at a local equine therapy center.

The Wounded Warrior Unit from Marine Corp Base Hawaii, made up of Marines who were injured in Iraq, will clear portions of a wooded area at Manawale?a Riding Center and create a sensory trail that will be used for equine therapy. They'll be on the site from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, and if they're not able to complete the task, will return May 14.
