Advertiser Staff

The deadline to enter the U.S. Women's Open local qualifier is Wednesday. The 18-hole Hawai'i qualifier will be May 9 at Turtle Bay's Fazio course. Hawai'i also has an Open sectional, June 9 at Turtle Bay's Palmer course.

There are some 15 local qualifiers for the Open, which will be June 26 to 29 at Interlachen Country Club in Minnesota. Approximately 90 spots are available to fill the field of 150.

To get an application, call the USGA (908-234-2300) or enter online at www.usga.org. Entrants must have a Handicap Index of 4.4 or less. The top local finishers advance to one of seven sectional qualifiers.
