Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores on O'ahu has come back up overnight to heights of 6 to 9 feet with locally higher sets today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along east-facing shores will rise slightly to heights of 2 to 3 feet today.

Surf along south-facing shores will remain at 1 to 3 feet while surf along west-facing shores will increase to heights of 2 to 4 feet.

The current northwest swell will continue through Saturday, then slowly lower through the remainder of the weekend. A solid south southwest swell will begin building Monday and likely reach advisory levels of 8 feet on the south facing shores Tuesday and Wednesday.

A small windswell will begin to return to east-facing shores over the weekend into early next week as trade winds resume.
