Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot a 1-under-par 69 today and was two shots behind leader Adam Scott after the second round at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship at the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving, Texas.

McLachlin, one of the early starters, was at 3-under 137, tied for fifth with four others. Scott, who shot a 67 today, was a stroke ahead of Mark Hensby (67), Scott McCarron (66) and Mathew Goggin (69).

Kane'ohe's Dean Wilson shot a 73 today and was at 4-over 144. The cut was 3 over.

Wilson made the turn today at even par after a bogey on the par-4 No. 4 and a birdie on the par-5 No. 7. But after going 1 under with a birdie on the par-4 No. 10, he bogeyed four of his last five holes.

McLachlin started on the back nine and made the turn at 2 under with a bogey on the par-4 No. 13 and birdies on Nos. 14, 17 and 18. He bogeyed the par-3 No. 2 and parred the rest of the way.
