Weather: Haze expected to leave by Sunday evening

The trade winds are still expected back into town by Sunday evening, but until then, the weather will include a mix of light and shifting wind, afternoon showers and volcanic haze over most of the state, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Scattered showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Sunday: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Monday: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
