Sometimes you just must answer the call of the stage, even if you're still in school. Especially when you're in school. So, people, let's support:

  • "Still Life With Iris," a production of La Pietra's Drama Department. It's the fanciful tale, by Steven Dietsz, about 10-year-old Iris, her mother, and an eccentric couple who want her for their own.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. today and tomorrow (pre-show activities at 7 p.m.) at La Pietra, Joseph Pynchon Courtyard, 2933 Poni Mo'i Road.

Admission is $5 general, $3 students.

  • "tree'd," (left) a production of T-Shirt Theatre Company, in celebration of Earth Day.

Environmental issues are explored through vignettes and musical numbers.

Showtime is 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Farrington High School Auditorium. It's free. 220-5003.
