Surf still in 10-foot range along northern shores

Advertiser Staff

The moderate north northwest swell is decreasing today, but surf is still going to be 7 to 10 feet along northern shores, the National Weather Service said.

Surf is also decreasing to 2 to 4 feet along west-facing shores, and will also be 2 to 4 feet along eastern shores.

South shores will see surf 2 to 3 feet.

A smaller northerly swell expected Tuesday night through Thursday. Small to moderate surf will continue along south facing shores through the weekend. Long-period forerunners from a south will build on Monday, causing south shore surf to exceed the 8 foot advisory level Monday night. This swell will peak Tuesday and Wednesday then slowly decline through the work week.
