A Village Park man was charged today with attempted first-degree sex assault after Family Court waived its jurisdiction over the 12-year-old case.

Christopher Leliza Florendo, 28, will be arraigned tomorrow at Circuit Court. The offense he is accused of occurred on June 7, 1996 at an undisclosed location in 'Aiea. The complainant was 10 years old in 1996.
