Mayor Mufi Hannemann will host a North Shore meeting to discuss emergency preparedness, rail and recycling from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hale'iwa Elementary School, 66-505 Hale'iwa Road.

Along with the mayor will be his staff to present safety preparations for hurricanes and tsunamis, information on the expansion of curbside recycling on the North Shore in November and to update residents about the the rail transit project.
