KAPOLEI-WAIPAHU
Nightly H-1 eastbound lane closures scheduled

There will be more lane closures along H-1 Freeway this week due to two major projects.

First, motorists will experience some lane closures going H-1 eastbound between Kapolei and Waipahu.

Multiple-lane closures will take place from the Palailai Interchange in Kapolei to the H-1/H-2 Merge in Waipahu from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. each day.

Crews are lane striping and installing pavement marking installations tied to the North-South Road interchange project.

Also, there will be single lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from the Kunia Road on-ramp to the Kamehameha Highway off-ramp (Exit 8A) daily from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Crews will be lane-striping as part of an ongoing repaving project through the area.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work areas and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
