Finalists interviewing for UH dean position

Three candidates for the position of dean of the newly established Hawai'inuiakea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa will be on campus through May 8 for interviews and public meetings.

According to a UH news release, the candidates and dates for meetings at Manoa are:

  • Jonathan Osorio, Ph.D. – director and professor, Kamakakuokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies. He is on campus through Wednesday and has been interviewing since Monday.

  • Gary Hook, Ph.D., D.Sc. — adjunct professor, Victoria University of Wellington and business consultant in Australia and New Zealand. On campus May 5-6; public presentation forum, Monday from 3-4:30 p.m.

  • Maenette Benham, Ed.D. — professor, Department of Educational Administration, Michigan State University. On campus May 7-8; public presentation forum Wednesday, May 7 from 3-4:30 p.m.

    All public presentations will be in the Shidler College of Business, Room A-101, on the dates indicated above.
