'Plantation Days' event celebrates many cultures

The "Festival of Flowers" celebration at Hawaii's Plantation Village on Saturday will once again showcase the many cultures of Hawai'i's plantation days.

The event is free to the public and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be performances by different cultural organizations beginning at 10 a.m.

A genealogy workshop backed by lineage experts will also be available.

Additionally, Keiki Aloha Quilts (formerly ABC Quilts) will display 24 "baby" quilts.
