Parents and babies welcome at Consolidated's 'Cry Baby Matinees'

Advertiser staff

Movie buffs who are also the parents of young children can relax during a film with their little ones with Consolidated Theatres' new "Cry Baby Matinees," which allows families with young keiki to catch the latest movie without fear of distracting other guests. Consolidated theaters on O'ahu and Maui will offer special weekly matinees, beginning next week.

A baby changing table and stroller valet will be provided in the auditorium. Lights are dimmed so parents don't have to worry about feedings in the dark, and and the volume is lowered to help keep keiki calm.

Tickets for "Cry Baby Matinee" showings are priced the same as regular bargain matinees. Children under the age of 5 are free.

"Baby Mama," "Iron Man" and "Made of Honor" are showing at various theaters in the first week of screenings.

Movie titles and showtimes for local weekly "Cry Baby Matinees" are available at http://www.consolidatedtheatres.com and will also be listed in daily local advertisements.
