Weather: Trades will diminish this weekend

Trade winds are expected to continue blowing across the state through the weekend and into next week although they will decrease a bit today and into the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

Trade wind showers may pick up a bit on Sunday and Monday when remnant moisture from a former tropical storm system passes through.

Here's how the weekend is shaping up:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 86. East wind around 9 mph.

Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. East wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 88. East wind between 7 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
