Surf remains 3 feet or less around Islands

Advertiser Staff

It's still vacation time for big wave surfers.

The National Weather Service calls for small surf, no larger than 3 feet anywhere, to dominate today's surf forecast.

Surf along east and south shores will be 1 to 3 feet whiile surf along north and west shores will be 2 to 4 feet, the National Weathe Service said.

As trade winds increase this week the surf will build, particularly along east shores. Surf could reach the 8-foot advisory level along east shores later this week, the Weather Service said.

North shore surf may also increase.
