Hawaiian Affairs donates $150K for community center

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has given a $150,000 grant to Hawaii Maoli to assist in the building of a community center in Kapolei.

Hawaii Maoli announced the grant today.

The Prince Kuhio Community Center will be located on a 24,000-square foot parcel of land leased from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.

The office building will house the offices of the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, Hawaii Maoli, the Prince Kuhio Federal Credit Union and other community organizations.
