Warriors get commitment from top California receiver

Deondre Powell, a decorated receiver from Gahr High School in California, has accepted a football scholarship from the University of Hawai'i.
Powell, who is 5 feet 8 and 160 pounds, caught 73 passes for 1,244 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.
Powell's teammate, quarterback Corey Nielsen, earlier made a verbal commitment to the Warriors.
"I'm excited to be a Warrior," Powell said.
