MILILANI
Saturday event will take applications for state ID

State workers will be at the Mililani High School cafeteria from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to process applications for state ID cards.

The fee is $10 for age 65 years and older, and $15 for others, payable in cash only.

State ID cards will be processed and mailed to applicants within 10 business days.

Priority will be given to people with completed application forms and the required certified documents, according to a news release from the state attorney general's office. Applications without these documents cannot be processed.

  • New applicants must, at minimum, provide an original Social Security card and a certified copy of their birth certificate (or resident alien card, if applicable).

  • For renewals of current ID cards with no change in name or citizenship, no other documents are required.

Information on application requirements is available at www.stateid.hawaii.gov and on a recording at 808-587-3111. Further questions can be directed to 587-3112.
