Repairs finished on water main near Honokai Hale

Advertiser Staff

Board of Water Supply crews have completed repairs to a broken 24-inch water main on Farrington Highway, between Laaloa and Waiomea streets. Water service was restored about 12 a.m. this morning.

The BWS is asking Leeward Coast residents from Honokai Hale to Makaha to continue using water sparingly for essential needs only, through Saturday to give the system time to get back to normal levels.

This aging main will be replaced as part of the BWS Farrington Highway pipeline replacement project.
