Surf: East shores holding at 5-7 feet today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the east-facing shores on O'ahu is expected to be 5 to 7 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, wave faces will be 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores and 2 feet or less along west- and north-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, Aug. 14: Surf along south-facing shores will gradually lower through the middle of the new week.

An increasing trend in small, southern hemisphere swell is expected to begin by the middle of the new week.
