The National Weather Service's Central Pacific Hurricane Center this morning issued an advisory Tropical Storm Kika, located about 815 south southwest of Honolulu.

The NWS said deep convection remains spotty and disorganized in the area between 1,000 and 1,200 miles southeast of Hilo. Slow development is possible during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through early Tuesday morning, the NWS reported.
