A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot during a home invasion robbery today on Hulaku'i Drive in Aliamanu.

The victim was shot once in the abdomen during the robbery at 1256 Hulaku'i Drive, which was reported at 10:55 a.m. He was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, police said.

The man and two women, ages 56 and 30, were at home when five men with their faces covered forced their way into the home, police said. Some of the suspects entered the residence displaying guns.

Two of the suspects searched the residence while the victims were detained by the gunmen.

At some point, the male victim attempted to push the suspects out the front door and was shot once, police said. The suspects fled on foot after taking electronics and other items.

Police are investigating the incident for possible attempted second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, first-degree terroristic threatening, and kidnapping charges.

Police have made no arrests.
