WAILUKU, Maui — All County of Maui offices will be closed in observance of the Statehood Day holiday on Friday, Aug. 15 and the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 1.

Hana and Molokai landfills will be open on Statehood Day but closed on Labor Day; Lanai landfill will not be open on either holiday and Lanai refuse customers with Monday trash pickups will receive service on Tuesday.

All pools are scheduled to be open on Statehood Day during regular hours, except for the Kahului Pool and the old Wailuku Pool due to staff shortages on that day. However, the public is encouraged to call the pools info. hotline at (808) 270-8208, which is updated each day by 9 a.m. with the most accurate information regarding pool hours.
