Firefighters quickly extinguished a closet fire at 1296 Ulupi'i St. in Kailua this afternoon.

The first fire company was called to the scene at 11:59 a.m., said Capt. Robert Main, Honolulu Fire Department spokesman.

The fire was confined to a bedroom closet in the single-family home and put out at 12:24 p.m., Main said.

A dollar value was not available. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Four juveniles were home at the time, and escaped without injury, Main said.
