See Hoku artists at Hawaii festival

There will be music galore, mostly by Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning artists, at the Made in Hawaii Festival, today through Sunday at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

The performances, in the Pikake Room, are free with festival admission.

The schedule:

FRIDAY

11 a.m. —Pomai KeaweLyman

1 p.m. — Jerry Santos and Hoku Zuttermeister

3 p.m. — Napua Greig

5 p.m. — Frank DeLima

7 p.m. — Maunalua

SATURDAY

11 a.m. — Eddie Kamae

1 p.m. — Melveen Leed

3 p.m. — Natalie Ai Kamauu

5 p.m. — KUmZ

7 p.m. —Darren Benitez

SUNDAY

11 a.m. — Nathan Aweau

1 p.m. — Jay Larrin

3 p.m. —Danny Couch

The event, themed "Buy Hawai'i, For Hawai'i," boasts 420 booths, from six islands.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets: $3 general, free for children 6 and under; $1 discount coupons available at First Hawaiian Bank locations on O'ahu.

The 2008 Made in Hawaii Festival is produced by the Hawaii Food Industry Association and sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank.
