Pleasant weather on tap

Advertiser Staff

Pleasant trade wind weather is on tap today and should continue through the week that should produce some "colorful" sunsets, the National Weather Service says.

Passing light windward and mauka showers are expected. Tropical Storm Hernan has weakened and will pass about 250 miles south of the Big Island as it continues westward. The southern tip of the Big Island may see some increased shower activity and possibly some on the leeward side with evening and afternoon showers, the weather service said this morning.
