Driver dies in crash on Maui highway

A man was killed in a Maui traffic wreck early yesterday morning, police said.
Police said the man, whose name was not released, was on Honoapi'ilani Highway near highway marker 15 at 2:40 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the road and crashed.
No other details were immediately available, police said.
