A section of Kuhio Avenue between Ulune Place and Prince Edward Street in Waikiki was closed to traffic shortly after 10 tonight due to fire equipment on the roadway.

Firefighters responded to a 10:02 p.m. alarm at the Pacific Monarch hotel, located at 2427 Kuhio Ave. Details on the fire call were not immediately available.
