Lahaina Gateway, the largest shopping complex in West Maui, will celebrate its grand opening Saturday at 10 a.m.

Among the stores currently open at the 138,000-square-foot center, located between Old Lahaina town and the Ka'anapali and Kapalua Resorts at the intersection of Honoapi'ilani Highway and Keawe Street, are Lahaina Farms, the first upscale gourmet grocery on the island; the largest Barnes & Noble bookstore in the state, and Office Max.

The complex also features Outback Steakhouse, Genki Sushi, The Melting Pot, Baskin-Robbins, State Farm Insurance, Foot Locker, David's Happy Nails, Maui Dive and Surf, Claire's, Sunglass Icon, Hat Shack, and Central Pacific Bank.

Kahuna Kimokeo Kapahulehu will do the grand opening blessing.

Hoku award-winning musician John Cruz will perform from 12:30-2 p.m. Te Mau Merahi Tahitian dance (10:30-11:30 a.m.) and Henry Kaleialoha Allen Hawaiian Jazz (11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) are also performing.
