Big, fattening Greek Festival

You don't need to be Greek to enjoy gyros, souvlaki and spanokopita this weekend, or to work off the calories from the Mediterranean cuisine by dancing into the night.

The 28th annual Greek Festival will give you an opportunity to learn about the ancient culture, and offer a chance for some modern-day fun.

The two-day festival runs from noon to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at the McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Beach Park. Admission is $3 for adults, and free for children 11 and younger, as well as active-duty military and their families; www.greekfestivalhawaii.com.
