A 24-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl Aug. 1 has his initial appearance scheduled tomorrow at District Court.

Ikaika K. Stone is being held in lieu of $220,000 bail at the main police station cellblock. Stone was charged Friday with three counts each of first- and third-degree sex assault and kidnapping.

The alleged attack occurred Aug. 1 between 12:01 and 1:30 a.m. at a Kaimuki High School construction site.

Stone was arrested Wednesday by police, who had identified the suspect's vehicle as his black 1999 Chevy S10 pickup. The truck had been repaired and police learned that Stone was scheduled to return a rental vehicle that day and waited to arrest him.

The 5-feet-11, 230-pound Stone allegedly told the 16-year-old victim, who stands 4-feet-10 and weighs 95 pounds, that damages caused in a minor collision on University Avenue and Date Street to his black Chevy pickup truck would cost $700 and she would have to "find a way to make it up to him."

The victim allegedly said no to sex but was afraid Stone might hurt her and got into his truck, police said. She was taken to the school and allegedly attacked.

A second suspect who was with Stone is still at large, police said.
