Mayoral candidates will gather at public forum
The League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women will host round table discussions between the public and the Big Island mayoral candidates on Sept. 4.
The discussions will be from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Aunty Sally Kaleohano's Lu'au Hale, where candidates will sit at tables and field questions from voters at the same table. After a set amount of time, the candidates will all move to new tables and begin again in a process that will continue until all candidates have cycled through all tables.
KPUA radio 670 AM will air live interviews from 6:30 p.m. with the candidates at a news media table.
