The city will be moving its Kane'ohe satellite city hall from Windward Mall to Windward City Shopping Center on Kane'ohe Bay Drive.

The Windward Satellite City Hall will close at 5 p.m. Friday and re-open in November.

Time is needed to prepare the new location and refurbish the existing work stations and counter located at Windward Mall.

Resident are encouraged to conduct business online, via mail or at the Kailua, Hawai'i Kai or other satellite city hall offices.

Satellite city hall locations can be found at www.honolulu.gov/csd/satellite.

The new facility, to be located on the mall that connects the two parking lots, will be about the same size as the old location.

Current staff will be temporarily assigned to other locations.

The move will not affect absentee voting, which is being held in the area across from Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor at Windward Mall.
