Nichiren Mission plans drumming, fun for Moon Festival

The Nichiren Mission of Hawaii will hold a Moon Festival with Drumming for World Peace as part of Hawaii's Peace Day Celebration.
The Moon Festival is 6-9 p.m. Sept. 13 at the mission, 33 Pulelehua Way. It includes taiko drumming, lanterns, luminary candles, food, a sangha festival Market and entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drums or borrow a hand-held taiko.
