Advertiser Staff

Mayor Mufi Hannemann will be the featured speaker at the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Honolulu Board of Realtors luncheon Sept. 5 at the Japanese Cultural Center.

The luncheon will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the center's Manoa Grand Ballroom. The cost is $20 per person or $200 for a reserved table of 10.

Hannemann will provide an update on the state of the city, including fiscal constraints and opportunities, issues and challenges, and what the mayor believes are achievements under his administration. He also will discuss the city's role in enhancing business opportunities in the face of a declining economy.
