Augie T. takes laughs to Wai'anae

Comedian Augie T. is on the prowl.

Hawai'i's favorite standup will bring a "Wild Wild West Comedy Show" to the Makaha Resort at 8 p.m. Sunday, providing Labor Day weekend laughs for folks on the Wai'anae coast.

Joining him on the bill are comedians Jose Dynamite and Timmy Mattos, with Gerard Elmore as emcee.

Pre-sale tickets: $15 at Stylistic Clothing in Wai'anae, 86-078 Farrington Highway, Suite 204, and at the Makaha Fashion Boutique in the former Cornet store location, 87-1170 Farrington Highway. Tickets at the door: $20.

Augie also will guest-host a pair of comedy gigs with Mainland standups, presented by On Stage Hawaii at Pipeline Cafe:

  • Sept. 17, 6 and 8:30 p.m. — Featuring Alonzo Bodden, grand-prize winner in Season 3 of "Last Comic Standing" and a regular on Season 5.

  • Sept. 24, 6 and 8:30 p.m. — Featuring Henry Cho, who dubs himself as "an Asian with a Southern accent," whose "What's That Clicking Noise?" special aired on Comedy Central.
