Surf: South shore 3-5 feet, with some higher sets

Surf along the south-facing shores is enjoying a small bump upward just in time for the three-day weekend and is expected to be 3 to 5 feet with occasional higher sets through today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along west- and north-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through today, while surf along east-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet.

Outlook through Thursday, Sept. 4: No significant swells are expected.
