By Wayne Harada

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday for a Steve Miller Band concert at 8 p.m. March 1 at Blaisdell Arena. A second show will be staged on Maui

Miller, known for such chartbusting tunes as "The Joker," "Take the Money and Run," "Livin'' in the USA," "Rock 'n Me,", "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Jet Airliner," has been road-testing music from his upcoming album featuring Joe Cocker.

Miller also will feature a yet-to-be-named guest artist, who will take stage at 7 p.m.

The concert is a collaboration of King Michel Concerts in association with the Diamond Head International Music Festival & Concert.

Tickets are $75, $65 and $55.

They will be available at the Blaisdell box office, Macy's and Times Supermarkets location.

Call 877-750-4400 or go to www.kingmichelconcerts.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

The Miller band also performs at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center Amphitheater, in a show presented by MACC and the Diamond Head International Music Festival & Concert.
