1) A win.

2) An Indianapolis loss.

3) A tie and an Indianapolis tie.

Can clinch a playoff spot with:

1) A tie.

2) A New England loss or tie and a New York loss or tie.

3) A New England loss or tie and a Miami loss or tie.

Can clinch a first-round bye with:

1) A win and a New York loss or tie.

2) A tie, a New York loss and a loss or tie by Indianapolis.

NORTH DIVISION

PITTSBURGH STEELERS — Can clinch a playoff spot with:

1) A win and losses by Miami and New England.

2) A win and losses by New York and New England and a tie by Miami.

WEST DIVISION

DENVER BRONCOS — Can clinch the division with:

1) A win and a San Diego loss or tie.

2) A tie and a San Diego loss.

ELIMINATED — Cincinnati, Kansas City.

EAST DIVISION

NEW YORK GIANTS — Can clinch the division with:

1) A win.

2) A Dallas loss.

3) A tie and a Dallas tie.

Can clinch a playoff spot with:

1) A tie and an Atlanta loss.

2) A tie and an Atlanta tie and a Tampa Bay loss.

Can clinch a first-round bye with:

1) A win.

2) A tie and a Dallas loss or tie.

3) A Dallas loss plus Minnesota and Arizona lose or tie.

WEST DIVISION

ARIZONA CARDINALS — Can clinch the division with:

1) A win.

2) A San Francisco loss.

3) A tie and San Francisco tie.

ELIMINATED — Detroit, St. Louis, Seattle.
